I remember ...Could boredom also be a state of mind? I remember as a child I would always feel an overwhelming since of boredom when I went to church, but as an adult church became a refreshing enjoyable experience. Why is that? Church hasn't changed so the change must have been in me. My mindset as a child was much different than it is now. I go to church now with expectancy and an open mind to learn and increase my relationship with God. I think that if we approach all of life's task this way (with an open, engaging mindset) our boredom would drastically decrease.
